Studio History
Sea Lion Studio was launched in early 2003 in a downtown storefront building at 182 S. Main St. in Bowling Green. The space was meant as an environment for clients and possible customers - and the general public - to experience digital media tools in use so as to better understand the capabilities of the new technologies, and to take steps in beginning to use the tools for themselves. |

A fire in the S. Main St. building in early 2004 forced the Studio to re-locate its production services and to set aside the performance and gallery space offerings. Development began on the BG File project during this time. Studio production crews started appearing at community events and activities, and the website bgfile.com went online as a community resource and platform. |
In the spring of 2006 the studio re-opened in its current location on the edge of the downtown district at 141 E. Court St., directly across the street from the Wood County Courthouse and within easy walking distance of the campus. |
