Studio History

Sea Lion Studio was launched in early 2003 in a downtown storefront building in Bowling Green. The space allowed clients and the general public to experience digital media tools in use so to better understand their capabilities, and to take beginning steps in using the tools themselves.

A building fire in early 2004 caused the Studio to re-locate its production services and set aside offering performance and gallery space. Development began on the BG File project during this time. Studio production crews started appearing at community events and activities, and the website bgfile.com went online as a community resource.

From 2006 through 2010 Studio staff worked in offices located across from the Wood County Courthouse. Sea Studio Studio grew a wide-ranging client list, and also developed the BGGizmo.com website to offer a shared community calendar and other online services to the Bowling Green area.

Since 2011 the Studio has worked without the use of a public office space, and we continue to provide top quality digital media production services for our clients.
